ADOPT A PIG

Alex from London adopted a British Lop pig “Isabella” back in the summer. “Isabella” has now be weaned from “Maisy” her Mother and is growing fast.

SOMERSET ART WEEKS

Tanyard Farm hosted Somerset Art Weeks for the Blue School, Wells. The event was a great success. Thank you to all those who visited.

FRIDAY 9TH JULY 2010

The Pilton Pig will be hosting Pilton Go Green Group Food Evening on – 7pm till 9pm. The evening will consist of a short talk and discussion followed by a tour and then refreshments. Please feel free to bring your own bottle of wine as we only sell soft drinks. All Welcome.

SPRING/SUMMER 2010

The Pilton Pig now have a stall on Shepton Mallet Market. Every Friday 8.30 till 2.30pm in the Market Place.

13TH JUNE 2010

We will be opening for "OPEN FARM SUNDAY". Come and see the pigs, sheep, chickens and Highland cow. Also come and try your hand at willow weaving.

Cream Teas, coffee, apple juice, ice-cream and sausage sandwiches will be served 11am till 4pm. It would be great to see you.

EASTER DAY 2010

Saw the arrival of our 1st litter of British Lop piglets - 8 boys & 2 girls.

2ND FEBRUARY 2010

"Pudding" our black labrador gave birth to 9 adorable puppies (5 chocolate, 4 black).

18TH JANUARY 2010

Mary Odd Spot gave birth to 7 very health piglets. Mother and piglets are doing well. We are thrilled.

9TH NOVEMBER 2009
